1976: Novice Mr. Canton Hall of Fame: Second place short class

1977: Mr. Cleveland: Fourth place, open class

1978: Mr. Eastern Ohio: First place, medium class

1981: Mr. Youngstown: Second place, medium class

Powerlifting Competitions

Mid 80's - Mid 90's: Competed in and won several bench press competitions in the 181lb weight class; including two “Best Lifter” awards.

Culminating his performance in 1997: setting a master’s bench press world record in the 181lb weight class at the IPA Pittsburgh Bench Press Open.

Contest Promoting

Late 70's - Mid 90's: Co-Promoter of the Mr. Youngstown Body Building Contest.

2007-Present: Co-Promoter with Stephanie Foley of the Cardinal Classic Natural Body Building and Figure Contest.
